1.2: Internet Research

The site that I used for my research on Cain and Abel was essortment.com. I found this site very good because it explains exactly what happened in the Cain and Abel story and uses bible verses as a reference to an interpretation of the story.
The brief summary of the Cain and Abel story:
Cain and Abel were sons of Adam and Eve. Cain’s job in life was to basically take care of the earth and Abeles job was to take care of the flocks (a number of animals of one kind).Cain and Abel had to give a sacrifice to God. Cain’s sacrifice was his job (taking care of the earth) and Abel’s sacrifice was the love for his job (taking care of his flocks). God respected Abel’s offering but did not respect Cain's offering to God. Cain became very angry with God and God warned Cain about his pride and anger. Cain did not listen to God and he reacted to his feeling instead by killing his brother Abel. God later asked Cain where was Abel and Cain responed "I don't know am I my brothers keeper?" God, who already knew what happened wanted to test Cain and see if he would tell the truth, and ask for forgiveness.Cain was punished  by everything being taken away fron him (his home and job).

1.1 About me.

Hi, my name is Cassandra. I was born and raised in Miami, Florida. At the age of 15, I moved to New York, and attended Martin Van Buren high school where I graduated with my regents diploma (yay me). After I graduated from Van Buren, I decided to go to LaGuardia community college and my major is nursing. After I receive my associates major in nursing I will transfer to Molloy college and get my bachelors and work as a nurse in the labor delivery room. My favorite hobbies are swimming, dancing, shopping, listening to music and being with my boyfriend (J.R). I am the oldest child of 3 children. My parents are both from the country Haiti. Although I was not born in Haiti and I've never been there, I feel that I am one hundred percent Haitian and I am very proud to say that. Although my grandparents from my mother side have five kids, my family is pretty small compared to many families I know and we are extremely close.
I have a best friend who has been my friend and caretaker since birth and her name is Christina aka my grandma. She's someone I can talk to about anything whether it’s about boys, school, church, my job and the list goes on I can pretty much talk to her about anything.
I have a boyfriend of 3 years who I consider my best friend (after my grandmother) he takes up most of my day. lol. Well that's all I have to share about me.
